To be fair, malai is a controversial item. Some like it and some find it ewww. But one thing that has malai in its name and everyone likes is malai peda. The word peda refers to any dough like food that is spherical or round in shape. While the sweet is said to come from Mathura, what we have here for you is a sugar free malai peda recipe.

Highlights:

  1. Sugar free
  2. Easy to make
  3. 4 ingredients recipe

Ingredients:

(a sugar free peda recipe and a healthy peda recipe)

  1. 210 grams of fresh khoya
  2. 90 grams of Sweetify stevia sweetener
  3. 0.5 grams of cardamom powder
  4. 5 grams of flaked almonds (to use as garnish)

How to Make:

Step 1:  Take a kadhai and add the khoya and Sweetify stevia sweetener.

Step 2: Cook them together, mix well and stir constantly until the mixture thickens.

Step 3: After the mixture thickens, add the cardamom powder and mix it properly. You can now leave the mixture to cool for an hour.

Step 4: Once the mixture has cooled, you can divide it into small portions of about 20 grams each. Now you can shape the mixture into flat balls to call them peda. Or any other shape and call them whatever you like. Don’t forget to garnish with almond flakes.
