Ingredients

- Rice flour - 2 cups
- Water - 1 ½ cups
- Sweetify stevia sweetener - 1 ½ cups
- Grated coconut - 1 cup
- Ghee - 2 tbsp

Sugar Free Modak Recipe Steps
Step 1: Boil the water in a pan. Once it starts boiling, add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of ghee.
Step 2: Slowly add rice flour to the boiling water, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Once mixed, cover the pan with a lid and let it steam on low flame for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and keep it aside to cool.
Step 3: While the dough is cooling, prepare the filling. Heat the remaining ghee in another pan, add the grated coconut, and sauté it until slightly golden.
Step 4: Add Sweetify stevia sweetener to the coconut, mix well, and cook for a couple of minutes until it blends. Remove from heat and let it cool.
Step 5: Once the dough is cool enough to handle, knead it until smooth. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into small cups or bowls.
Step 6: Place a spoonful of the coconut mixture in the center of each dough cup, then carefully close and shape them into modak.
Step 7: Steam the modak for about 10 minutes until they’re cooked through. Let them cool slightly, then serve.
